Summary

I am interested in creating a map where the winners get real money as a prize. There would be somewhat weekly events in which the players participate, and depending on how they perform, they could be eligible for a payout. I wanted to check over this idea with the developer team to make sure if this would be allowed. Looking over everything else, it seems as though this idea would be allowed, but I wanted to run this by the Epic team or anyone in charge just to be safe and sure. Thank you!

Gotcha. The link with the rules stated that I would not be able to promote the event in the game itself, but I could do it outside the island. Would I be allowed to have a normal map, but host the event on a social media platform? Thanks.

I think most people would agree that social media platforms are “entirely outside of your Fortnite island”
