So why can’t people from this “web team” go on the forum to discuss issues and their reasons for the upgrade directly?
oh btw, looks horrible on 4k and higher res monitors. need to upscale the website to 125 - 200% and even images are for ants.
At least on mobile the huge space on the left and right is cut out. But yeah, 1 week over, so little changes, so much still left. It looks like this will take at least another 2 or even 3 weeks. At this point, most of us have no idea why you don’t just roll back for that time and it would be great to hear something different than just “thanks for your patience, we are working on it”. Also, collect feedback? Just give us back all of the old functionality, can’t really come up with an old feature that was redundant except less secure Also, I love you guys, but you are playing with my heart.
No dark theme?
Badges are a pain to read.
not sure if this was mentioned but the forum icons don’t display at all on IE
quite a pain as I can’t tell which forum has new stuff
Solution: don’t use IE
Number of posts per page can also be bumped up a bit. 15 is a little short imo.
fine I’ll use Chrome buys more RAM]
or maybe I’ll use Firefox prepares for “Well, this is emabarassing”, losing pinned tabs and other errors]
in all seriousness though I’m just used to IE because from my years as a web developer it was easier to develop for one browser (IE) and have the certainty that everything works in every other browser (never failed, not once), as opposed to developing for one browser and having to adapt/fix on every other browser
also back I had better respect for my clients than just telling them “oh whoever visits your site cannot use X browser”
I guess nowadays it’s irrelevant (been years since I stopped working as a web developer), as apparently less than 2% of people using IE anymore and the concept of “fast and lean” websites has been replaced by “heavy websites supported by the more widespread broadband”
ranting aside, I have no reason to use IE anymore, I’ve just been too lazy to switch over
Now that, you can actually change on the settings panel. Try here:
But I’d prefer to see things as everybody sees.
Afair this was a pretty low value in the older forum as well, that was the default setting and i manually changed this for myself. Tho it is a wrong default setting, and i also would prefer this to be changed to a high value for everyone.
Solution: Use Vivaldi!
Seriously, Vivaldi has never let me down.
I can actually read the text without excessive zoom now. Images/badges are still microscopic.
I think by adding Dismiss All Notification button into Message Center it’s more user friendly and we don’t need to open Show All Notification to use Dismiss All Notification button.
Can Epic add an option for changing the date format please?
Seeing something posted on the 9th of January as the latest topic is confusing
dd/mm/yyyy
All I want to see is dark theme option. This color hurts my eyes.
Check this out! Still WIP but looks great already!
I’ve updated theme, it now should cover about 90% of the forum UI (some CKE popups left, those are hard to repaint).
If You find a ‘white spot’ make a screenshot and give an explanation how to find it (in Theme’s topic, not here).
Link hovering still an issue (it’s really hard to debug, since FF and Chrome could not debug :visited styles).
Can’t open some threads… It’s probably because of the title…
This is an example
