Summary

Since the latest update when i open the map i am currently working on i get an error message saying netwrok connection lost.
I can still open other maps.

Steps to Reproduce

Launch session in UEFN.

Expected Result

Map should open so i can test it.

Observed Result

Map doesnt open, network connection lost while loading in.

Platform(s)

PC / UEFN

Check your Output log & see if you can identify the cause.

When starting my project in UEFN this is the first error message shown.


When launching the session the first time after opening UEFN i get this error message:

then it connects me to the prelobby with the editor not connected and memory only loaded in for 1.285 of over 60k that my map currently has.

When i try to exit sesssion and launch it again i get just send back to the normal fortnite starting screen, while in UEFN it keep saying Session Loading.
And gives me a similar error message:

So after exiting the session again and starting it again it sends me into the loading screen to connect to the map
and then shows me a network connection lost screen.

With again pretty much the same error message:

I heard of another user that had the same problem that a file needs to be changed on the backend so please if any dev can help me?

It says there is a character that has been prohibited by a hotfix

I know that it says that, but i don’t know what to do about it.

Also here is the post of the other user that had a similar problem from the looks of the logs and he said there is a file that needs to be changed on the backend.

correct, the dev team can change the plugin file on the backend and that should fix it. join fortnites creative discord if youre not already in there and hit up a someone in dev relations. at the very least they should be able to direct you to the right channels. there is hope! my game is working again :slight_smile: i was devastated when i found it broke :frowning:
