Neil Gallagher's Work Thread:(LittleClaude)

Haha, very funny story  Yeah it was nice of “L’Orchestra Cinematique” to allow me to use there music.

This is the Curzon Cinema I went to see Ghostbusters as a kid, looks like it might have some ghosts living there now.

Wow! Curzon Cinema does look spooky! I love the architecture of the building, though! Just curious - what are your favorite film genres?

Supernatural Comedy I guess? Top three films would have to be
Ghostbusters, Shaun of the Dead & Spirited Away and you?

I love all of your top three films! I have many films that I enjoy that I cannot fairly rank them all. However, my top favorite genres are horror, fantasy, and sci-fi. :ghost: :unicorn: :robot:

I also fancy a good psychological thriller. Sometimes this genre falls within the guidelines of horror, but not always.

Finally made a 4K version, yummy

Hey again, @littleclaude.

Wonderful as always to see your work.

The entire video is incredibly wholesome and endearing. I was expecting a serious and diligently crafted nature scene but instead got a good little smile and giggle out of it.

As per usual, happy to see your work and I look forward to the next!

Been playing with Metahuman today, got a little carried away as usual and thought I would share the fun.

Saruman, Lord Of The Rings, quick Metahuman test, its amazing how quickly you can make a base mesh with these tools.

Greetings @littleclaude !

I see you’ve been having a little fun with MetaHuman! Thank you for sharing the fun! The first MetaHuman video looks like the result of placing the following characters in a pot and stirring it:

  • Meatloaf (the rock star)
  • Lord Farquad of Shrek
  • The Joker (any iteration)
  • Alice Cooper (the rock star)
  • Jeff Dunham’s puppet Bubba J

What do you think? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Dear, Saruman! R.I.P. the great Sir Christopher Lee! Stoic Saruman is the best! Angry, scowling Saruman is haunting. Smiling Saruman is pure evil. Never trust a wizard and a smile! LOL!

This character looks AMAZINGLY CREEPY, and I love it! Congratulations! Just a question, out of curiosity. Since MetaHumans uses LOD’s for the character, does it work for mobile? Or only for High-end PC’s?

Hi, I am no expert at rigging for mobile dev but here is my guess. You could use the low rez LODs for mobile, although these days mobiles are able to do crazy levels of polygons. Then I would say you would need to export the models that come with all the LODs and then chose the LOD levels you want to use and then optimise the rigs as you won’t need all the morph shapes. Good luck!

The lava noise is perfect. It feels engulfing as if the viewer is standing right in the center of the fire.

Found this old tree, what to do, what to do…add it to the pile of 3D scans, one day when I get a minute I will post them all on sketchfab for everyone
