I’ve never used the Cascade Editor beyond simple edits of already existing particle systems. When Epic released the massive pack of assets for the highly successful mobile sword game I looked at their particle effects and found some cool ones that I could re-purpose into other kinds of effects. Since I am working on a space game I have spaceships flying around. Using the particle systems that Epic provided it turns out fine on my computer but doesn’t work on Mobile. Turns out support for GPU sprites is lackluster at best because of mobile hardware limitations.
So I was thinking if it was feasible to make those effects as CPU Sprites instead of GPU and here is where I run into problems as I have very little experience in this and wouldn’t know where to start with this.
