Me and my group need help with a biking game were making. we are trying to figure out how to cause our bicyle to constantly accelerate and cap out at a certain velocity, we are noob to intermediate coders. Any help?
Hi, have you looked into unreals documentation on vehicles?
Basically you have a 4 wheeled vehicle, doc: https://docs.unrealengine.com/en-US/Engine/Physics/Vehicles/VehicleUserGuide/index.html
You could use this and hide the other 2 wheels (I used that for cars and it works good).
And there is a simple wheeled vehicle movement component that works with n-wheels. doc: https://docs.unrealengine.com/en-US/Engine/Physics/Vehicles/SimpleWheeledVehicleMovementComponent/index.html
I used that for a tank, but its either quite complicated to setup or a little bit buggy (cause I can either set it up so that the tank feels like it drives on ice, or else drives normal but has hitches/vibrates) and it has less features than the 4 wheeled component.
