NEED HELP, project won't validate for me when HLODs are built

Summary

When I try to start a UEFN session, it won’t let me because I get a validation error after upload reaches 100%

I’m working with other people on the project and the issue only happens for me

When I remove HLODs it works fine, but then I need to build them again to commit which is a hassle

It only happens on this particular project, and it happened consistently for 2 weeks now

I tried to

  • Unplug the HLOD layer and disable world streaming
  • Remove the HLODs and build them on another layer
  • Downgrade to an older version
  • Logging out/ logging in again
  • Start Live Edit in another project and come back to this project
  • Reinstall the project
  • Reinstall UEFN

Nothing seem to work and it’s making the workflow a lot less slower

Also looked at the UEFN logs and they’re pretty meaningless

It’s a huge project that we been working on for 4 months and we’re about to release so it’s gonna be even harder to work on it (since we’ll have to keep HLODs enabled for each version)

Could be great if someone could help me solve this… (I’m thinking that UEFN didn’t get fully uninstalled when I reinstalled it)

Getting an error upon trying to upload private version only

Just came across the same problem, project is junk now… hundreds of hours wasted.

UCB-1359 incident has been created. Status is ‘Awaiting Validation’.

I turned off streaming, deleted HLODS (it failed to build at that point), shut down UEFN and restarted and the project is back up but of course over memory as we were counting on being able to stream the game and use HLODS. I’m a bit leery to try to rebuild HLODS in case it properly destroys the game this time… What to do?

Well for me it’s just me who can’t build them, my teammates don’t have any issues with the project, is it the same for you ?

Also the HLODs are building fine on my end, it’s just not passing validation afterward :')

Mine wouldn’t pass validation at the time, I did the above and now no longer have hlods so am trimming things out I wish I didn’t have to trim out…
