I don’t know if this would help the issue, but make the ocean spline go close to the coastline a bit more to go around the swimming pools, especially the ones from the pic that have the yellow ocean outline near them.
This blue screen screen problem is now on other projects I have and it’s usually when it’s trying to launch session on the pc and loading the anti cheat so I’m guessing what’s causing that is the anti cheat
I’ve done that and it still crashes as soon as I load in
I might try go back to a older snapshot of the island and try it there
Should I or do you know of something else I could change
2 maps I have at the moment, get Build Failed when I try to Build HLODs, until I replace the HLOD layer, and its the last thing I have to do before Launching.
Any tiny change needs a HLOD rebuild, if I’ve built HLODs since the last Fortnite update, it sometimes builds them, sometimes I need to replace the HLOD layer again.
If fortnite updates and I try to launch, I get a network error, if I try to build HLODs even without any map changes, I have to replace HLOD layer…
I suspect its the texture data assets, they’re the only thing out of the normal Fortnite Props and Devices I use.
Also everytime I have a successful launch session, its always on the second try, gotta shutdown fortnite if it doesn’t connect and try again.
About 1 in 10 launch attempts gives me a BSOD, at the easy cheat screen…
What stuff in your map is not standard Fortnite Props or Devices ?
Am getting blue screen every time I launch session but if I launch session on my console it crashes for this project but haven’t tried the other one on console since last update.
As much as am aware of nothing except if maybe foliage ch4 tiny rocks and sounds from the content browser that’s it
Is that from Foilage Mode ?
Yep
I think I remember from your last post, I thought it could be a foilage issue… but it wasn’t.
I don’t trust it with HLODs, maybe cause I don’t know much about it at all…
See if you can select all the foilage and right down the bottom of the settings, check the HLOD layer it uses… remove it from HLOD… use the set default arrow on spatially loaded ???
see if that does anything.
I just deleted all foliage from the content browser but loading into an session still crashes
that’s what I did to the water as well
OK, so it wasn’t the foliage…can you rollback to a snapshot and get the foliage back.
Maybe a good troubleshooting practice, delete stuff and check, then rollback and try again with something else.
Pull your Spline in a bit where it goes outside the coastline up top and the bay to the right,
I’m interested to see how it goes where the spline crosses over… like a mobius strip…
