Summary
Hello everyone,
On October 04, 2024 my map got disabled over a violation made inside the map.
Since the violation was a small issue and could easily be fixed, I wanted to apply for an appeal.
The appeal never showed up on my “MY SANCTIONS & APPEALS” page.
I’ve contacting support and explain that I don’t have the ability to appeal, and I was told to contact the employee’s that go
over map approvals and there is nothing they could do, so I did.
I tried to appeal to a violation that I had before the disabling of my map and explained the situation to the employee.
He ended up approving my appeal, but the disable of the map was never removed.
So I tried appealing another previous violation to explain that I got my appeal approved but didn’t get re-enabled.
This appeal ended up getting denied (because my map wasn’t over 30 FPS, so he didn’t seem to care much about my story) and got me an additional 30 day suspension.
After this I contacted support trying to explain the whole situation but I was told I have to go to the forums.
But on arrival on the forums, I’m being told this was a mistake (By Flak, an Epic Employee) and I should indeed be on the normal support.
So I’m quite conflicted why I’m being send to the forums on these tickets: #13670266, #13422137.
Since I’m not getting a reply for several days from support / they refuse to redirect me to a specialist team, my only options is forums again.
Right now I’m a bit confused where I’m supposed to go now but I feel like this whole situation is getting out of hand.
Getting an completely disabled map (that can’t be used at all anymore) and a 30 day suspension over a simple violation that could easily be fixed, is in my humble opinion very extreme/concerning.
I hope I can be redirected to a specialist team to help me resolve this simple but overly complicated-made issue.
Kind regards
