yes we are, my point is that humans are more capable of space exploration or any other complex task than a robot due to our physical and cognitive dexterity.
for example, the solar panels get dusty so the battery dies, what can a robot do, nothing its dead. what can a human do, clean it, problem solved, exploration continues.
