Nanite meshes not rendering/loading correctly in Editor?

Hi All,

I’m hoping someone can help me. I have a large environment which consists of a 15km road with a lot of grass and trees etc. along the verges. There are also some gantries and bridges and other assets along the route. Everything is Nanite, including the foliage. For some reason some of the meshes aren’t loading correctly at times. They appear in editor as shown in the screenshots:

I thought my computer was struggling to render the scene, but I did some optimisations and get 80+FPS now along most of this route.

If I click on the mesh, or open the foliage tool, these problems disappear. It seems like it doesn’t recognise the camera position, or the mesh needs to refresh to fix itself. Or maybe it has something to do with being far from the origin? This is those same broken meshes after selecting them:

I’m using UE 5.3.

If any of you have experienced this or have any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Adam
