Nanite: LOD messed up after disabling?

Sometimes after disabling Nanite, LOD is messed up.
This apple for example should be more detailed. If I zoom in very close, it shows LOD 0. But a little further and it skips to LOD 3. Any way to fix this other than reimporting?

Also is there a way in blueprints to check if a mesh has Nanite enabled?

It sounds like the “ScreenSizes” of the LODs are incorrect, you could try changing them to smaller numbers for LOD1 onwards and see if that fixes it…

I’m not aware of any tests specifically for nanite but maybe you could test to see how many LODs it has?

I think they were always incorrect. It’s been a long time since these weren’t Nanite, and I think I’m mixing it up with other Nanite issues. I reimported and it was still a crappy apple :smiley: Adjusting screensizes fixes it. I assumed Quixel was perfect!
