Nanite breaks my model

Hi all,

I am running into this issue where my Nanite breaks my textures. The textures are displaced and just in general look broken. The normal version looks fine. I imported from Reality Capture. The model isn’t cleaned yet and when I import I get tangent error messages. Any idea whats going on?

Nanite stores tangent information differently than traditional meshes. If you’re getting tangent error messages, that is the most likely culprit of your broken geo, and you should fix that before reimporting.

You could also try checking ‘store explicit tangents’ in the mesh settings, but I have no idea what the implications are for perf, disk space, or mesh functionality.
