Nanite And Translucency

Plans for nanite to support translucent blend modes? I am attempting to use mesh decals as a regular part of my workflow, but as it currently stands i have to have two static meshes one with nanite enabled and another for just the meshdecals(which then have to have their own lods).

I can’t seem to find a reason why or a hint at potential future support for this. Splitting one Static mesh into two meshes is a tedious workflow at best and at worst is ripe for user error.
Would be awesome to get a little more information surrounding this topic!
