My Unreal Engine 5.20 download is stuck at 82%

Hello,

I’m currently facing an issue with installing Unreal Engine 5.20. The download completed successfully, but it seems to be stuck at 82%. I’ve attempted several suggested fixes I found online, but none of them have resolved the problem.

I’m using Windows 11 Home and installing Unreal Engine on my SSD (D:). It’s also worth mentioning that this is my first time using Unreal Engine.

If anyone has encountered a similar issue and found a solution, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Thank you!

That’s not the download, that’s part of the install.

It goes through various stages, download, verify, install, blah …

The later ones can take a long time on slow systems. You might have to wait 4 hours or more on some.

What is the system spec?

I have an Intel i5 11 gen CPU 8GBs of ram and an intel Irisxe graphics chip. I will give it some time. I did not think it was doing anything because the operations were frozen.

I think that’s a pretty basic GPU. It might be a problem.

Just leave it overnight and see what happens.

You might have to settle for 4.27.
