I feel my Vive experience is below the bar. I already installed the newest GTX driver 368.22.
I’d like to know the VR Score from anyone with GTV 970. Maybe there is a way to improve the performance without additional hardware upgrade!
A GTX 970 or R9 390 are the minimum specs for VR, so your results look fine 
I’m quite surprised it’s not even VR Ready!
It is VR ready, you can play all games with the 970. You should not care much about such scores.

We’re testing some heavy loading app and the FPS is around 40 with my current configuration. But in most of gaming apps, it’s quite acceptable.
That’s strange that your score is the way it is. You should getting a slightly higher score than my system with your Skylake CPU.
Your system is clearly above min spec.
I find a much miserable case than mine:
IIRC, the 6700 isn’t as good as the 4790k. I’m also using a 4790k / GTX970 combo and have no problems playing VR content.
