My publisher profile got deactivated because Epic didn’t reply in time. What a shame...

Hi all,

I got a notification about missing payment details in my publisher profile, saying I had 60 days to fix it. When I checked, all my details were already there—same ones I’ve had for years, since the old Unreal Marketplace. So, I replied to the same email that sent the notice (fab@acct.epicgames.com).

After a few days with no response, I also followed the link in the email to the support page, filled out the form, and sent it. More days passed, still nothing, so I tried a different email I found (fab-support@epicgames.com).

Weeks later… silence. Then, about 40 days after the first notification—way before the 60-day deadline—my account got deactivated. And the best part? The email informing me of this says that if I still want to be a publisher on Fab, I should go to the same “support” form I already submitted weeks ago, are you kidding?

So, Epic, you set deadlines for users, but you don’t respect your own. Bravo, Epic/Fab. Thanks for this shameful service.

PS: Please, don’t suggest me to fill this form again.

They have filters when using direct email, so fab team will never reply to a direct email.

They should reply in 2-3days when using the form page: https://support.fab.com/s/?ProductOrigin=FabSupport
It is just an assumption, but I believe they have filters on the support form as well so that it sends to the proper department team (they also said there was no AI response but who knows), try to use important keywords in your title like “Check account” and proper category.

Try to be short in the message and avoid any potential curse word that might flag your support request as ignored.

Thank you @Arodi007 ,

Indeed I read that the reply should take 2-3 days, and that’s why I’m angry now. I sincerely doubt my form message was filtered, because it was a very polite and simple email, just asking them for help as they told me to fill my payment information but I was seen it there, already, so I needed more specific details (all with please, greetings, regards…). My other two emails were the same.

I will try again, but it’s quite weird to have to pursue they for something like this.

So… I’m sorry, but this is ridiculous.

Hi. I’ve responded to your other post on the topic here.
