Stability

Steps to Reproduce

having a project with alot of complex assets just under 100% by 4mb?

Expected Result

i feel like it could be trying to load everything at once which in the level there is a lot of complex stuff but even then i have a very powerful GPU which doesn’t struggle what so ever and it’s only been since the latest update, i did notice something similar was happening too in the previous update which all i did to fix it was to migrate the level to a different project then delete that level in the current project. then over to the other project and migrate it back to the original.

Observed Result

in the uefn crash logs it showed up with “GPU Crash dump Triggered”

Platform(s)

PC

Island Code

6740-3301-2398

Update: i can’t actually do anything with the project its completely broken and keeps crashing cause it tries to open up the same level in the project

Turns out it’s like 99% of my projects that contain alot of assets and not just this one project level

fixed the issue i wish i looked in the discord announcements earlier but for anyone that is having this issue too right now and is seeing this follow these steps.
-Open the Epic Games Launcher.
-Find the UEFN tile in your library.
-Click the three dots below the tile.
-Click on “Manage”
-Slide the button for Additional Command Line Arguments to on.
-Type: -d3d11 in the box.
-Launch UEFN.
-Note: In order to switch back to DirectX 12 you need to delete the command/slide the button to off.
