My material instances are broken... How do I fix it? (UE5.5.4 - Source Code)

Something strange has happened to my material instances.
It seems the color stopped working.
But it only happens in my metallic colors (The other material instances work fine).

I have this base color. The other colors are instances from this material.

For example this one is supposed to be black… but something made it look white now.

I have no idea why this happened.
The last thing I did was copy 1500 actors into an empty level to see the performance…


I got better performance by unchecking this box.

Before this the colors work well.
I find it strange that it is related but I say it just in case.

But now all my material instances are broken.

Any idea how I can fix them?

I created a new instance from the material and it is working very in rare way
Colors seems like weak…


All my levels are white now… really it is a serius problem… i need fix it

If there’s something epic in Unreal that is the bugs.
The only thing I’ve managed to get working is to make ALL the materials again.

If another material breaks, I’ll jump out the window.

I thought about downloading UE5.6.

But after reading the comments from people who have tried it, I think that a downgrade would be a better option.

They should consider changing the company name to EPIC BUGS!!

Is logic they do not sale it… each five minutes you have a new bug…
You are more time fighting against bugs that developing your game…


Other bug:
it broke the normals of my static mesh… the material is applied in the internal face
I was using this mesh since a year ago… UE5.5.4 is the wors version ever :frowning:
