That’s right, many people seem to have the same problem.
While there isn’t any official information, I found that the issue apparently comes from the automatic revision control when it interacts with autosave. A possible workaround would be to disable automatic revision control.
- Open Revision Control menu in the bottom bar
- Click on Change Revision Control Settings… option
- Click on Disable Revision Control button on the pop-up window
