Hi @plattmeisterx2!
Let me help you with this. Where did you end the game?
I had this problem several times during development, and it was because I was pressing the End Game button in the wrong place.
If you end the game from the Game Menu, your editor will lose connection with the game.
Please try to make sure to select End Game in the editor.
Quick question: When this happens to you, how do you open Fortnite?
Make sure you always open it from the editor, never from the Fortnite application itself.
That’s right, many people seem to have the same problem.
While there isn’t any official information, I found that the issue apparently comes from the automatic revision control when it interacts with autosave. A possible workaround would be to disable automatic revision control.
Open Revision Control menu in the bottom bar
Click on Change Revision Control Settings… option
Click on Disable Revision Control button on the pop-up window
