Recently when I opened my UEFN project, I was greeted to a message in fortnite under my island saying “There are no settings available to display since your experience does not include a settings device”. After then checking UEFN I do have a settings device and with even deleting it and re-adding one I still come across the same issue. It means that i currently can’t work on my project so if anyone could help me that would be great!
Same issue here. I can only launch a game in UEFN, but not on my map, even though there’s a Island Settings device on my map (only visible in UEFN).
You should disable streaming (streaming is the thing that make devices and objects unload when you’re too far from them. But it also let you place less objects and devices.
It’s working now, thank you !
I’m having exactly the same issue, even after doing as you’ve done in deleting and re-adding. As one of the commentors has mentioned, disabling streaming may fix it for some people but then that limits you with regards to memory.
This did indeed fix my issue but my memory is well over 100k now. Once i have finished doing mechanics can i turn streaming back on and it will lower my memory again?
when I put my island settings in the viewpoint, I try to save it and it says it was excluded from my playset. How do I fix that?
