My hand flies away

I am doing something where I swing my controller. I find that often my VR hand flies away into space, and then comes back several seconds later. I assume because it loses tracking and then finds it again.

If I slow down my swing, it reduces the chances of it happening. But, I want a fast swing, so is there a way of preventing the fly away with the fast swing? (using Oculus Quest 1)

Can you post a screencap of your motioncontroller actor components tab? If your controllers otherwise work perfectly fine, my first hunch is that its a physics/collision issue.
