My Character Disappears When Near Water Body Ocean Edge

When playing my level with a water body ocean my character runs around fine until I get near the waters edge then the character disappears and the view becomes static. Any ideas why this is happening?

I have this issue too. What I did was to go to World Settings → Kill Z and adjust the value to a much lower value. Apparently actor get destroyed when it fell below certain value, in this case in the depth of the ocean
