Would not be a good idea to block reported seller from selling till he prove that he owns rights to resell someone else staff?
Just asking since I did have a long conversation with fab support.
Seller that I did reported has been remove only because I asked how many DMC reports that person has to get be removed? Because then I did mention that already few sellers report him but non action against him has been taken.
Lets say I did manage to take down this seller by corresponding with Fab Support. But, it is not how it should be, Iām not even marketplace content seller. I should not care 
Maybe its irritating that customers have to do the job.
Anyways, here is for context my conversation with Fab support that on the end finally did take some action.

āGhostLineStudiosā seller sold the free for the month of August 2024 Skeletal Modular asset created by Buxoided, it was removed after we on this thread and other users made several stolen content reports to FAB team, BUT the seller āGhostLineStudiosā was not banned, and now he is AGAIN selling stolen contentā¦

I am very happy that you took action when he sold the stolen assets a week ago, but obviously more action is needed, this seller slipped through your asset review system AGAIN, this is not bringing much trust to FAB, this kind of things bring only distrust to FAB, and buyers are afraid to buy anything.

thats actually wild that this user is still not banned after his firsts uploaded stolen assets, and now is allowed to upload other stolen work, huh

Well, the bow is pretty old free (CC Attrib) model. I used it in animated short like 10 years ago. Forgot where it came from.
His other pack (https://www.fab.com/listings/0a3ffcd5-f624-458e-bcfe-7ea1635c3707) contains another free model from Sketchfab: Old Car Wreck - Download Free 3D model by Renafox (@kryik1023) [348320b] - Sketchfab
This model is licensed under CC Attribution-NonCommercial, so inclusion in commercial pack is clearly violation of license.
Considering these and the fact that other packs from this Epic āVerified Sellerā were 100% stolen Iād assume that both new packs are nothing different.

just check the āsource fileā names on the assets on the asset packs, then you can find the original assets from google,

He doesnāt appear to be banned, I can still see his profile. This is truly disgraceful. I honestly canāt comprehend how someone who repeatedly has their listings removed for blatantly stolen assets can just come back and continue posting more stolen content. Itās beyond any logic that thereās no strike system or something, anything! Iām genuinely flabbergasted.

I will recommend to all indie developers I know not to buy anything from FAB since Epic clearly does not give a sh*t if violating assets end up to commercial games sold on Steam etc storesā¦

Yeah, Iām trying to report stuff on there. But the inability to add context to them makes it hard for me to keep track of stuff that Epic is ignoring

This wasnāt a case where we intentionally let them back.
GhoostLines Studios was previously removed from the Fab ecosystem.
GhoostLines Studio is a new account created by the same person/group after the first account was removed.
The second account has been removed from the Fab ecosystem as well. Weāre working on improving our tooling and process so it isnāt easy for bad actors to return.

I am sorry if I came so hard on the comments, but this is a serious issue.
The problem is that byers currently do not know if they are legally allowed to use an asset they buy from FAB, this is very scary for a small indie developer who depends on assets created by others.
If we buy an asset that is violating someones rights, and then we use that mentioned asset on a commercial game, we -the game developers- will get the blame on Steam etc for using illegal asset, and we could possibly face legal problems.

To be fair, theyāre slowly taking down some of the stuff that Iāve reported. But I canāt make any promises on the abundance of Star Wars stuff and that Halo Warthog.
Adding this profile to the list of stolen stuff. Lots of Fallout, Halo, Star Wars, Dune and god knows what else. There are lots of stuff here that I recognize, I hope that Epic just donāt delist the assets but ban the individual posting all that crap.
Just add some blacklist for the name or something. Add a report button and we will help with the cleanup. Stop patching wounds and let us help get rid of the disease.
