It seems that if Mesh Section Switch is used inside CO asset which is linked to another CO via the Group Node, it deletes all tags defined in Mesh Section nodes of CO where used.

Hey there,
I need to know more about your setup here to determine what the bug or expectations might be. I’ve got a relatively simple setup where the mesh sections here have the tags defined. In this case I have seperate tags, but it works properly if they have the same tag as well.
[Image Removed]In the child object I’m using a modier to modify the mesh section based on that tag. In this case it’s a morph target.

This allows applying this modifier to the item defined by the tag it’s registered against.
Are you making further modifications down the chain? Are these different types of tags? Tags do not typically travel with the content past the nodes they are defined on.

Hi Dustin,
Thanks for the reply. You are right. It works in the vanilla engine. I need to investigate more on my side. The fact is that I’m utilizing Macros quite a lot, so I’ll try to find the cause and report it here.
