hi guys, is there a way to use multiple landscape materials(each has their own layers) on the same landscape ?
You could make your “material layers” as material functions with their corresponding layers instead of materials. There are two things you must take in consideration:
- Those material functions cannot be blended as if they where layers themselves (you will have to blend them in the material by whichever method you like).
- All layers will be displayed as if they where regular layers in your landscape painting tool. So if two layers have the same name in the material functions those will override eachother (i don’t know if they will just replace each other or cause crashes, have not tested this).
