While hosting either a listen or dedicated server for my custom game, I can have clients connect fine via 127.0.0.1
When attempting to connect from an outside source(open [ipaddress]), the client fails to connect every time from a connection timeout. Port 7777 is open, server log mentions that it is listening on port 7777, and I’ve hosted UDK projects successfully in the past on these same hosts. What else could possibly cause this?
I’ve had this issue when running Zone Alarm firewall. I would make sure you have nothing blocking incoming connections
