I am having some issues tracking down a definitive answer on how to actually connect to other players via a multiplayer game, particularly with steam implemented. I have gone through many tutorials and been unsuccessful in getting the hosted game to populate in the server list. I can get it to all work properly when simulating in the editor, but after i build and test live i can not get it to work. The objective is to play test with friends, and not over a local network.
Question 1 - Do i need to have a dedicated server to allow others to join a session that is hosted
Question 2 - Do i simply need to have port 7777 forwarded for the server to populate?
Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated
