Movie Render Graph Alpha Output

Summary

I am trying to get a clean beauty pass for a cinematic using the movie render graph. I want to use a multilayered EXR file to get the depth pass and the motion vectors for motion blur in post. I’ve exported multiple times where Translucent materials and Ultra Dynamic Sky always get punched out and creates an alpha channel. I don’t want that. I’ve tried with the single layer EXR node and still have the same problem. If there can be an option for “Write Alpha” in both these nodes that would help. I know with render layers you’d want an alpha but sometimes for a beauty pass maybe you wouldn’t want one.

What Type of Bug are you experiencing?

Rendering (Graphics / Niagara)

Steps to Reproduce

Made an MRG to output an EXR with no alpha.

Expected Result

EXR beauty pass with no masking and no alpha.

Observed Result

EXR nodes (both multilayer and single-layer) don’t have a Write Alpha option and the export has an alpha channel

Affects Versions

5.7

Platform(s)

Windows

This seems like a reasonable feature request. A Write Alpha toggle on the EXR nodes would help a lot for cinematic workflows where a clean beauty pass is needed without unwanted transparency. Hopefully this gets added in a future update.
