Mover and Avoidance

Hey, just wanted to know if there’s an update on avoidance for Nav Mover coming anytime soon, if not, is it possible to see the roadmap or at least get an understanding on it’s priority at all? Just trying to determine if we should be implementing our own avoidance system or wait for a near engine version.

There has not been recent work on avoidance in Mover. The current target is 5.9 for some RVO avoidance implementation in Mover, but that is subject to change. The Witcher 4 demo at Unreal Fest last year used a combination of Mover and MassAvoidance. That involved passing some of the pathing information from Mass to Mover. I believe some of that work has been added to the engine in a MoverIntegrations plugin.
