Summary

I have been creating maps in unreal engine for fortnite for a week now, and after a long process of publishing and making bugs, I have created a 1v1 map, but to my surprise, there is a problem with the movement.

When moving forward, there is no problem at all, but when moving sideways, or backwards (“S”, “D”, “A”), the whole map looks like 30fps, as if the structures are stuck, or as if the movement is broken. When I create a creative 1.0 map, from the central, the same thing happens to me, and my friend, who I asked to help me, has the same problem.

I attach a clip of what I mean: Fortnite 2024.02.21 - 18.07.37.02.DVR

I don’t know if it is happening to anyone else, or if there is a solution even if it is temporary, because I want to understand that it is a fortnite bug, and it is not my fault, but I would like to solve my map as soon as possible.

Steps to Reproduce

Move forward first, then move sideways

Expected Result

It should look normally, like walking forward

Observed Result

The map looks 30fps, as the movement were shattered or something like that

did you find out how to fix it?
because i have the same issue with my 1v1 map

YESS BROOO! ^^

It’s something on the island settings. You know they changed the movement this chapter 5. You have to go to the island settings (if in creative 1.0), search player > movement > the last option says something like Speed Tunings or so, it’s default on “Current BR”, you must turn it into “CHAPTER 4 MOVEMENT” and start the island with that settings.

If you are in UEFN, you just need to go the island settings icon, search “movement” and you should find the option, just change it from Current BR to Chapter 4 Movement and your good to go

Good Luck <3
