Yeah, you are right, I should rephrase that info. I put the info in the FAQ, because I got some e-mails like “omg! I have to make my game all over again?? I was almost finished!.. noooo!”
I also agree that the new skeleton is waaaaay better as a generic template for different models and animations. My animations also look better on the new skeleton.
The whole process of retargeting all my animations (it’s more than 800 anims at this point) took so long, because I didn’t just retarget them from “Blue Mannequin” to the new “Robot Mannequin”. I actually retargeted the animations from original mocap files, to achieve best quality, so I had to make many of them practically all over again.
not a solution… but maybe consolation, Macro Recorder, Macro Program, Keyboard Macros & Mouse Macros
