Movable Skylight Issues

Hi everyone,

I’m using a Movable Skylight and Directional Lights as I have set a Day/Night cycle set up on my project.
The thing is that as I set the Skylight to Movable, I cannot get the best Indirect lighting quality.
Specially when it comes to Indirect Lighting Bounces on ceilings in my scene.

However, if I set the Skylight to Stationary and Build the light, the lighting looks awesome but this is not actually what I have to do as I need the Skylight set to Movable to get the Day/Night Cycle to work properly.

I’m attatching some screenshots about this whole thing:

With the Skylight set to Movable the Lightning doesn’t look as I need and the ceiling looks literally black. I tried and researched a lot trying to fix it but no way to find the solution yet…

However, here we have the Stationary Skylight, looking great with the Indirect Lighting Bounces (from the World Settings) also working properly.

But as I said, with the Stationary I cannot get the Day/Night cycle effect that I need, so how should I do to try to replicate the same Stationary Lighting result with a Movable Skylight instead?

Thank you so much to anyone who can help in advance!

Hey there.
This is actually by design, switching a Skylight to moveable will make the engine compute all lighting in realtime (no baking). In this mode you should use distance fields (DF/DFAO) to achieve similar results to a baked build. Have a look at this documentation for more.
Cheers!
