Motion Design - Cloner Meshes are always affected by decals despite dissabling decals on the mesh and materials ?

Using Unreal 5.5.3

Using the clonder in motion design, any mesh I use under the cloner is always affected by decals, even though I have dissabled it on the mesh.
I also turned of decals on the materials being used by the mesh but this also didnt work

I assume this is a bug, or if anyone has a solution or workaround?
