Additional Notes
This is the issue and the info inside that post is the same as what its doing again. When you start the game at the start its fine when you jip its broken and instead of it being in the middle of the bottom screen its at the default bottom right.
This is how i was setting up the slot alignment in this post/linked post. This does move the inventory bars to the middle but this is wrong and what has caused the confusion.
Controls the layout of that weapon bar ui not the above even though the above image also changes it ? This has created the confusion here. I am abit amazed at how this wasn’t picked up by Epic just reading the report tbh and just posting saying this is the wrong way to setup the system like you want.
Anyways the top image is the bug that should NOT move the actual middle quickslot bar yet it does hence the confusion
It is still bugged for jip but its random sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t even with the new info as above
@Flak Could you ask the team behind this system if it needs any delay/flags before you update the hud controller for the player currently its set in the world and is setup as the same class as the island default im unsure if something is happening in that when the player spawns it needs time to update the ui or smoething
So to repro the bug its actually easier than i thought although its random have a game with 2 players and the hud controller setup to the middle of the screen then with the 2nd player just keep quitting and joining then it’ll break after a few try’s.
