The gun & 3rd person model have parts that are transparent

This is most likely a hardware issue. I recommend updating your graphics card drivers to the latest to see if this resolves the issue.
If updating the drivers does not resolve the issue, please provide your dxdiag so I can take a closer look at your setup.
