Model or UV?

Hello

I am having a problem with my model within the engine showing these black smudges. The model does not have a texture applied or correct UV’s nor a lightmap. However I am writing to find out whether this is a problem with the model or the fact it hasnt been UV’ed yet. The rim of my wheel has also been squashed on import as it has one in picture 2. Thank you for your help

Yes it’s a uv problem. Unreal uses the uv map for lighting. So fix that and rebuild lighting, should fix that.
