Dear friends. please help.
I`ve asked this question on many forums but still unanswered.
When I use mobile separate translucency in particle material (subUV particles) and gaussian mobile DOF particles are still affected by dof although they are in the plane which is not affected by dof.
Concerning dof I try to use High quality mobile Gaussian blur and it works well but all materials used by particles with subUV images are blurred if background is blurred by DOF. If particle is emitted where background is closer and not affected by DOF post processing blur they are rendered ok and not blurred.
Ive tried already many options, such as render after dof and doesnt work also in settings I check Allow separate transluceny and doesn`t work.

Last I read in the docs, volumetric fog isn’t compatible with translucency, though it could be supported in the new 4.24. Is there a specific reason(s) you’re using Additive blend mode instead of Modulate or the other? I recall Additive not supporting something too, though don’t remember what. These things are so difficult to look up in the docs exclusively, what supports what, that it’s best simply to tease it out by trial and error. Hence, I’m asking why Additive instead of a different mode before trying to change it.
What is the SubUV image of? It’s not previewing in the screenshot. Is it a simple black & white image? or a sprite sheet? or something else?
Tried changing post processing settings for the DOF yet?
I tried with different blend mode such as translucency and modulate and nothing changes. Sub Uv image yes its simple black and white. Yes, I tried different settings for dof, same again.
Youare right it is hard to find exclusively in docs these settings. We can only rely on help on forums or trials and errors.
It could be translucency sort priority? or depth sort priority? or one of those sort priorities lol. Is there more than one post process volume with different DOFs applied?
