Missing texture after editing the Material and cook

So there’s a VR game which has the Chamferzone weapons from the marketplace.

I edited the original M9 material and it looks fine in the editor. I just added an emissive color and the texture for it.

Saved it, cooked it and then packed it. When I test it ingame, the magazine is still textured but the weapon is not. It has the WorldGridMaterial assigned as the material/texture seems to be corrupted or something?

I also noticed once I saved the material, it changes from 122kb to 43kb in explorer even after adding something.

I tried it without editing the material and just changing the textures and that works. But once I edit the material its all grey… except for the mag

Solved: I had to enable use with skeletal mesh
