There were several larger cylindrical god rays in the hub level. (as seen between the red lines here http://imgur.com/a/xgdbD)
- 2 large ones representing sun light from the windows
- 3 large ones coming from the fan lights
- 1 large blue one coming from the “holotable” projector (i actually felt this one should have been even more prominent as it really sold the “projector” visually)
these had a great 3D effect and I thought really added atmosphere to the scene. The smaller versions of these still exist on the upwards facing spotlights and fanlights.
Another missing effect I remember was the rotating fan “blob” shadows on the floor.
thirdly i no longer see the “hanging motes” dust particles
I was just curious why these were removed (perhaps they were considered to big of a performance hit?) and if they would be coming back.
