Metasound cannot change multiple elements in array

Summary

Trying to set multiple elements in a wave array in metasounds, by chaining them together, i.e. using the output array from one Set node as the input array of the next Set node, doesn’t work. Using a Get node shows that it is only the last set index that has been set, the other ones are ignored.

What Type of Bug are you experiencing?

Audio

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a chain of Set (WaveAsset:Array) nodes, by taking the output array from one and using it as the input array for the next.
  2. Select different wave files as different indecis in the Set nodes.
  3. Use a Get (WaveAsset:Array) node, using the array from the last Set node.
  4. Put a Wave Player node afterwards, and use the element from the Get node as the Wave file.
  5. Take the output audio from the Wave Player and use it as the output audio for the graph’s audio out.
  6. Make sure all the triggerable nodes are triggered by the OnPlay node.
  7. Add a wave array variable to the graph, and set it as the init array of the first Set node in the chain. Add array elements in its Default Value window, as many as the largest index you’re setting with the Set nodes.
  8. Switch between different indecis in the Get node. Only use the indecis that you have set in the Set nodes. Press play every time you switch.

Expected Result

You should be able to hear the sounds from each indecis in the array that you have set, as you switch through the various indecis and press play.

Observed Result

Only the last set index in the array has actually been set. when trying another index it plays the default value of that index, not the one you’ve set earlier in the chain.
