Metahuman plugin not working

I am trying to load meta human creator into the content drawer, in Unreal Engine. but when I click on add and search for it, I am not getting it. I have enabled and downloaded the plugin and it shows as enabled within the plugin section. I am running 5.5 have restarted the software, and the computer. and tried to put it on 5.4 with the same problem. I am running OS Sonoma, with a Mac Studio. M2 chip, 32 gigs of ram
any ideas?

Investigating through the community, this issue has been encountered a few times, the solution is to replace the plugin manually, please follow the steps below:

I was actually trying to create a MetaHuman from mesh (MetaHuman from Mesh Quick Start in Unreal Engine | MetaHuman Documentation | Epic Developer Community) which does require creating a blank MH Identity in editor rather than Quixel. But I found the solution: I actually didn’t have the right MetaHuman plugin installed, I mistook the similar looking MetaHuman SDK plugin for it.
