I have downloaded 2 metahumans (male). Both come with the female body version for some reason. The male body version is divided into parts while the female one is alright.
When I opened the blueprint for the character, there was a Parent called Body which was hands and feet, and the children of this were the rest of the body (Torso, Legs, Feet, Face). This is obviously wrong, since the hand and feeet (called Body) should be in the same category as the rest of the body or it gives errors when animating the character.
I have managed to fix this in the blueprints, but in the Skeletal Meshes that I have available (for preview and also for the animation BlendSpace) I can’t select all the MetaHuman body, only the hands and feet. I have checked the files of the Metahuman and it only shows the legs and hands for (the so called “Body”). How can I add the rest of the body? Should I just modify the skeletal mesh? How do I do this?
Thank you
Screenshots:
-While I have fixed the BP for my ThirdPerson character, the skeletal mesh still is not fixed.
- As you can see in the left, I have fixed the body heriarchy (created new FullBody to include the rest of the body, before the skeleton “Body” was the parent of all the rest), but in the right side you can see that I only have this skeletal mesh available and that it only shows arms and legs. The rest of components of the body are in separate meshes.
