I’m having trouble generating a base model for my project.
When I use a preset or import a custom model to use the conform tool, the generated model—if you check the position of the hand bones—shows the bones misaligned from their correct positions. [Image Removed]
I can only generate a correct model by enabling “Show Compatibility Mode Bodies” in the project settings and using one of those models.

Is there a way to fix this? Is it a bug?

I’m using version 5.7.4.
I only used the legacy body to check if the bones were positioned correctly when generating the skeleton.
When using the presets included in Metahuman Creator, we can already see that the bones are misaligned.
The same thing happens when using “Conform from Mesh.”
Here are some images of the process.

Thanks, Borna, for the quick reply.
I used method 1.
It changes the pose slightly, but I can easily adapt my base model to that.
The little finger bones are slightly better, but the positioning still isn’t optimal.
We’ll keep testing over the next few days.
Best,
Germán
