Metahuman hair santa claus white and cant stop it

It looks good in creator, and when I see it in the editor, as long as I have it on Epic mode or below. As soon as I render it out, or use Cinematic, it goes mad white like santa claus. Comparison example can be seen here.

I have tried disabling all the LODs other than 1 and 0 but no luck. Anyone found a solution to stop this happening?

I also looked at the similar questions and no solution works for me I can find yet.

it is the emissive lighting in other assets causing it, but all the “r.hairstrand…” settings I tried putting in engine.ini did not solve it. The only solution I found was to switch off the emmissive assets causing it, or keep a distance from them.
