Metahuman hair renders off, grey/white

Hello, I’m rendering a scene with metahumans, and I notice that some of the hair grooms are rendering grey/white. Someone suggested in a previous scene it could be that there are static or stationary lights that could cause this, but I’m using all movable lights in my scene. Rendering: I have all the nice suggested MRQ CVARs for ray tracing. Here’s a shot of the view in editor:

I’ve turned off AA in the render because it seems to screw up their hair. Other than that, typical render options: deferred rendering on, disable game mode, Apple prores render.
