Please ensure that you have uninstalled the Quixel Bridge Maya Plugin before loading MetaHuman for Maya. Some details for this can be found in a related thread.

Fresh system, fresh install… no Quixel Bridge Maya plugin… still this error…

I’m having the same exact issue in Maya 2023 and I have never installed the quixel bridge plugin! Please help!

Samme issue on my end as well. It worked when it came out. Then an update was pushed out that broke everything. So I did a clean install of UE and maya (2023 and tried 2025). Now I can`t even load the plugin from maya. No quixel, tried defining the variable module etc.
