Summary
In the MetaHuman Character editor, the Combined Mesh asset picker under Import → From Custom Mesh → Full Character is completely missing. Only the “Combined Mesh” label is visible, so no Static Mesh or Skeletal Mesh can be selected.

Steps to Reproduce
- Install Unreal Engine 5.8 through the Epic Games Launcher.
- Create a new blank project.
- Enable all required MetaHuman plugins, including MetaHuman Character.
- Restart the Unreal Editor.
- Create a new MetaHuman Character asset.
- Open the MetaHuman Character editor.
- Go to Import.
- Select From Custom Mesh.
- Select Full Character.
- Expand the Load Custom Mesh section.
- Observe the Combined Mesh field.
Expected Result
The Combined Mesh field should display an asset picker, including a “None” field and a dropdown button, allowing the user to select a compatible Static Mesh or Skeletal Mesh from the Content Browser.
Observed Result
The asset picker is completely missing. Only the “Combined Mesh” label and an empty area are displayed. There is no “None” field, dropdown button, or any other way to select a mesh.
The issue also occurs in a newly created blank project after enabling all required MetaHuman plugins and restarting the editor.
