Hello, we have bought a Meta Quest 3 and would like to use the VR headset for the Twinmotion application. Unfortunately, Twinmotion does not recognise the VR headset when we click on “VR” in Twinmotion. We have connected Meta Quest to the computer via Air Link and via Link Cable, but in both cases Twinmotion does not recognise Meta Quest 3. what can we do now?
i have the same problem
It is because to work, your OpenXR should be the one from Meta. Go in the Meta application, and be sure to have this settings:
I also am experiencing problems getting VR to work with Meta Quest 3 in TM (2025.2 Preview). I have the Meta Quest Link set as the active OpenXR Runtime (it was set as default).
I’ve followed all other recommended steps:
- latest GPU drivers
- updated Oculus app
- Oculus app running before starting TM
- Oculus Link enabled
still the VR display setting is greyed out in TM, and I get the message “Connect a VR headset and restart”, as well as “Current Open XR Runtime: Oculus OpenXR 32”… (I’m assuming that’s the correct runtime?)
ok, I guess I was just expecting to be able to view VR in the headset directly, but I figured out that you need to enable the desktop in the headset first (select correct monitor, if you have more than one), and then you can enter VR mode through there. Only issue is that the eyelevel seems too low (at least in the editor view)
